HELLO Y'ALL! I'M PRETENDING I'M FROM TEXAS TODAY. THIS IS AND I'M APOLOGIZING TO Y'ALL FOR LETTING THIS SLIDE LATELY.

My life has been pretty hectic. I know, this is a poor excuse, but then, I imagine you all know what finals are like. And then I got sick. Normally, that would mean I would have more time, but it was that sucky kind of sick where all you feel like doing is staring blankly at the TV or sleeping. Seriously, I can’t remember the last time I’ve taken so many naps.

Now! I’m going to be doing some reforms, after looking at how some other, more successful, clubs are run. If it’s alright with y’all, I will rip and repost any art you wish to have featured by the club, with linkage back to the original on your page and any comments you may have originally posted with it. Also, contests are consolidated.

CONTESTS (Revised): There is one contest currently running, for Sanosuke- related fanfiction. Any genre, any theme, between 700-4,000 words. Exceptions can be made for length. Please keep it to a T rating, yaoi is prohibited.

PRIZES:
1st- One complete and colored drawing by myself. You specify the character (can be from RuroKen, Trigun, Bleach or early Naruto) and emotion (if you wish)
2nd- Line art of Sanosuke (or a charcoal sketch if I feel like it) you specify the emotion, and from what stage of the manga.

SO! SEND ME SOME ARTWORK, PLEASE!!! I’M DESPERATE!

Yo! here! And no, I haven’t forgotten about you all.

Yeah, sorry I haven’t updated this thing in awhile. Life got pretty busy pretty quick.

Well, actually, that would be a bit of an understatement. More like hellish, and frighteningly fast.

The only reason I have any time at all is because I’m not as school (the one day in I don’t how long that I actually want to go my dad won’t drive me…) and my little brother is the only one awake at the moment, and currently watching Jeff Corwin. Not Steve Irwin, he can take his “Crikey!” and shove it up his fat a- *mouth covered by the ever helpful Sano, who reminds her to get on with real business and stop blathering on about herself, in not quite so many words*

Okay, it just occurred to me that I neglected to add in all the official club mumbo-jumbo in at the last journal entry. So- here it is:

Someone suggested (sorry, I can’t remember your name at the moment) that I just run a contest for general Sanosuke-related art on the side, since the avatar was just recently changed. ALRIGHTY THEN! (borrowing from The Mask, keh heh heh.) Please! If you have any avatars, art, deviations, painting, collages, picture of some chicken you think might be related to him, big swords, a photo of some guys shoe who was wearing a red headband, WHATEVER, I’ll take it. I’m desperate here people. Hey, if anyone wanted to help out, it would be appreciated.

will still be involved, as she started all this insanity. Just think of me as that annoying manager at your work you bugs the hell out of you but the owner is too lazy to actually do anything about it, or complain, because they hired them in the first place.

This is my first time running a club, and I am relatively new to the whole deviantart thing, so we'll learn together, shall we? Or, you all will laugh hysterically whilst I screw up horribly.

Whatever works.

I am an avid Sano worshipper, as I hope you all still are since this club has been mostly inactive for so long. I have the manga up to #17, and can dimly remember back to when Cartoon Network played the anime. (Namely, Shikijo standing outside a gate. Not enough so that the first time I tried drawing poor Sano I colored his collar red, not blue.) However, I won't let that stop me! I know enough about the rest of the series to at least uphold an intelligent conversation.

Let's not forget our credo!

I'll admit, I have a lot of other things I need to be doing. But, I get this running again- I swear! It just may take awhile. If you have any new Sano art, send me a note. I had to delete all the deviantalerts since I really don't have time to sort through 63+ assorted ones for ones depicting Sano-kun. I do go through all the recent notes, however.

I appreciate your help in all this, and hope you'll stay the distance with me, and join me in my Sanosuke-worshipping. To get your creative juices flowing, I'm going to attempt to instigate a contest.

HOW ABOUT A NEW AVATAR?!?

New management, new icon- you hearin' me? Preferably animated, although it does not need to be, as long as it's cool, it has Sano on it, and is kiddy-friendly. (i.e. No blood, guts, gore, sex, drugs etc. etc. How you could fit that all on a 50x50 square is beyond me, or why any of you would want to for that matter.) It would also be nice if it had the club name, although that is not necessary either.

Alright. I think that about covers it. Undoubtedly I am forgetting about 100 things and am going to tick quite a few people off, but hey. It's not like the we all don't do that everyday. ^-^
