It was very interesting to see Sano go through the grieving process when Kaoru “died”. He really does think of her as a younger sister. The frustration, the sadness... something to contemplate. He is a very physical person, and masculine, in many ways, and he just doesn't quite know how to deal with emotions.

Plus, he just looks very, very, very hot in Watsuki-dono's new style. Not that he didn't in the first place. But I love #26.

Did you ever notice that poor Sano never shows up on any of the side-bindings? Everyone else but him. And he's Kenshin's right-hand man!
